Since September 2021, Hood Mining has been at the forefront of the Bitcoin mining industry. Our team has built and successfully runs a robust Bitcoin mining business, with a strong presence in Dallas, TX. We take pride in managing a dedicated team that handles 67 ASICs, generating an impressive 7PH/s. To ensure efficiency and reliability, we have standardized our operations on the Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro, running on the innovative Braiins OS.
But our journey started even before venturing into mining. In September 2020, our owner took on the role of Director of Print and eCommerce at Bitcoin Magazine, a position he still holds today. During this time, our team played a vital role in revitalizing the physical magazine product. From brainstorming content ideas to delivering the final product, we oversaw every aspect of the magazine’s development. Our expertise extended beyond content creation to encompass design elements, production, distribution, and comprehensive marketing strategies. In 2021, we successfully relaunched the print magazine and have since delivered six quarterly issues. We take pride in our extensive contributor network, featuring over 300 talented writers who provide captivating op-eds for our website. Additionally, our eCommerce team has excelled in revamping products and creating merchandise for Bitcoin Conferences.
Before immersing myself in the world of Bitcoin, I gained valuable experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from February 2011 to September 2020. During that time, I held various sales and marketing roles, consistently surpassing expectations and exceeding sales quotas. I covered enterprise accounts in Dallas, TX, and later took on the responsibility of Telco marketing for North America. My meticulous approach involved developing detailed customer account plans and partner roadmaps, ensuring outstanding service and meeting all key performance indicators set by the marketing team.
